The afro is a go to hair style for many people with natural hair because it is quick and easy.
Just work a pick or wide toothed comb through your hair until it reaches the desired width, pat it into the desired shape and you’re done. Styling hair couldn’t get much easier than that, right?

There’s nothing less cute than a lifeless looking, dry and brittle ‘fro.
Healthy, eye catching afro’s take effort. Unfortunately, there’s no way around that fact. Here are a few things to avoid doing so that your afro always looks its best:

Coarse hair is thirsty hair! Spritz hair lightly with water or moisturizer and then seal in that moisture in with a natural oil to keep hair shiny and soft.

Oiling your scalp can eliminate dryness and itchiness and can promote hair growth. (Castor oil and Vitamin E oil have helped me greatly in this area.)
